CSU faculty member dies in bike collision

Rebecca Allen, a 2002 CSU graduate and undergraduate program administrator for the Department of Journalism and Technical Communication, died this morning in a bicycle crash, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan.

CSU hosts NLEEC

Monday night was marked by a euphoric patriotic kick-off to the National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference at Moby Gym.

The conference, which is held every two years, began in 1979 at Michigan State University. Law enforcement exploring is club designed to train teenagers ages 14 to 20 how to pursue a career in law enforcement.

CSU to start school for the environment

CSU is creating a school for the environment to prepare students for the emerging green economy.

As CSU's prominent image as "the green university" becomes more and more visible nation-wide, the school will hit its biggest green stage yet on Aug. 25.
Hundreds of students will go through every scrap of trash at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, ensuring the Democratic Party will reach their goal of recycling, reusing or composting 85 percent of the waste generated by the convention.
